Upgrading to Regional Referee Requirements:
- Minimum Game Count: 25 games as a Referee and 15 games as an Assistant Referee at the Adult Amateur Level
- Minimum 3 years as a Grassroots Referee
- Minimum of 3 passing assessments as a Referee (completed between January 1 and December 31)
- 2 at the Adult Amateur Level
- 1 at the youth level (U18 or U19)
- Pass Fitness Test (completed between January 1 and December 31)
- Complete Online Regional Referee Upgrade clinic
- Current SafeSport Training License
- Current background screening
- Attend In-Person/Zoom Upgrade Clinic (variations dictated by COVID safety considerations)
- Must have attended a one-day Grassroots Advanced Clinic and completed associated online lessons
Recertifying as a Regional Referee:
- Minimum of 2 passing assessments as a Referee (completed between January 1 and December 31)
- 1 at the Adult Amateur Level
- 1 at the highest youth level (U18 or U19)
- Pass Fitness Test (completed between January 1 and December 31)
- Complete Online Regional Referee Recertification clinic
- Current SafeSport Training License
